Today, Meta, the parent company behind WhatsApp, has announced that it is adding a bunch of new features to the app.
The first feature coming to WhatsApp is camera effects. There are up to 30 backgrounds, filters, and effects to choose from to spice up your photos and videos.
Another feature a lot of people are going to love are selfie stickers.
As the name implies, you take a selfie, turn yourself into a sticker, and paste it onto a message. Do keep in mind this feature is coming later to iPhones, but it is available on Android right now.
In iMessage, you can tap and hold on a message to instantly react to it. The same feature is now available on WhatsApp.
Last but not least, if you find an interesting sticker pack, WhatsApp now lets you share it with your friends.
