A real and proper Adobe Photoshop app for iPhone is now available for download with generative AI features.

Brand New Adobe Photoshop App for iPhone Arrives with Generative Fill Features, Thanks to Firefly

Before I move forward, I want to make it absolutely clear that Adobe ‘Photoshop’ has been around on iPhone for quite a long time – called Photoshop Express. But it was a completely watered-down version of the software with basic editing features only.

When I say basic, I mean basic. It’s the kind of stuff you’ll find in system apps by default.

Today, a new version of Adobe Photoshop has been released for iPhone that brings it close to its Mac and iPad counterparts.

There are two versions of the app, free and paid. You obviously get more features to play around with. But, the free version is packed with loads of features that should easily get an average user through the day.

This means you get access to things like layers, masks, combining, composting, and blending images, Spot Healing Brush, and of course, Adobe Firefly for Generative Fill and Generative Expand features.

The last one is extremely important since it allows you to expand your images using AI and fill in the missing parts. If that’s not enough, Generative Fill allows you to put stuff into an image using the power of AI.

If you want the full suite of features, you can either pay $7.99 a month or $69.99 a month.

You’ll find a ton of details and videos about the app by going to this link. Or, you can head over to this link to download the app straight from the App Store.
