I’m not going to call the Powerbeats Pro 2 a ‘Beats’ product, since they’re so similar to AirPods Pro 2 in a lot of ways. Maybe even better.
Powerbeats 2 Feature a Built-in Heart Rate Sensor, Up to 45 Hours of Battery Life, H2 Chip and More
Everyone knows about AirPods. The fun alternatives to them lie under the Beats umbrella, and they represent great value for money as well.
Today, Apple is outdoing itself once again with the launch of Powerbeats Pro 2.
You’ll find a ton of reviews and blog posts talking about these, but I’m going to focus on things that absolutely set these apart from AirPods.

First and foremost, these are the first-ever earbuds from Apple that feature a built-in heart rate monitoring sensor. This means even if you’re not wearing something like an Apple Watch, you’ll be able to track your heart rate from your ear.
Apple says the sensor is able to take 100 readings per second, making it extremely accurate too.
The built-in ear hook has been redesigned and now features a Nickel-Titanium alloy that perfectly wraps around your ear for the ultimate lock and fit. You really don’t have to worry about the earbuds falling out during a workout.
In terms of battery life, the Powerbeats Pro 2 are able to deliver 45 hours of playtime in total. However, a single charge delivers up to 10 hours of playback. Again, big numbers which absolutely outshine the AirPods.

Since this is an Apple product, the Powerbeats Pro 2 are powered by the H2 chip. Whether it’s active noise canceling, Transparency Mode, Adaptive audio, Personalized Spatial Audio, lossless support for Vision Pro – it’s all here.
The new earbuds are available in the following colors: Electric Orange, Hyper Purple, Jet Black, and Quick Sand for a price of $249.99.
At that price, you’re better off buying the Powerbeats Pro 2 than AirPods Pro 2.
You can pick them up in-store starting February 13.
