Apple TV App Now Available to Download on Android

The official Apple TV app APK is now available for download from Google Play if you have an Android phone or tablet.

While the Apple TV has been around on pretty much every platform you can think of, it’s been curiously missing from Android. Today, Apple has rectified that mistake with the launch of the official app.

You can download the app straight from Google Play. Whether you have a phone or a tablet, you’re good to go.

You get access to all the blockbuster TV shows and movies from TV+. You do need to sign up and pay $9.99 a month to keep watching. However, a free trial thrown into the mix if you’re a new subscriber to the service.

You do need an Apple Account to sign up for TV+. I’m sure you saw that one coming.

Before you quickly latch onto that trial, I will highly recommend that you do some research on shows and movies you should watch first. Once you do that, you know where to start from and make the most of the free time you have with the service.

Even if you don’t have the official TV app on your Android phone or tablet, you can still access the service through a web browser by going to: tv.apple.com

Now that the official app is here, I don’t see any reason why you should use the browser option anymore.
