Apple has just announced and released a brand-new app for iPhone called ‘Invites.’ Let’s have a look at it.

The Invites app has been in the news for quite a while, and it was only a matter of time before Apple would officially announce it. Today is that day, and it is actually quite interesting what Apple has in mind with this app.
As you can tell by the name, it’s designed to plan events. Any time of event, really. It can be a baby shower, a vacation, a birthday party, you name it.
Using the app, you create an invitation, send it out to people, and they can RSVP from Invites. Pretty basic so far, right?
Here’s where it gets interesting.
The app is designed around Apple Intelligence, and it uses a lot of AI to help you design the perfect invitation, such as a cover photo, emoji background, create custom images using Image Playground, and even polish up your written invitation using Writing Tools.
You can really turn your invite into a work of art, with support for custom fonts also available.
The app will also tell everyone about weather conditions on the day of the event so that they can plan accordingly.
You can even contribute photos, videos, and music from the event right within the app ,which makes things that much easier when wrapping an event up.
Now comes the part which might throw you off a little.
Invites is available for iCloud+ subscribers and not available for use by those who have a free iCloud storage tier, which is the 5GB default one. This also means the app works with iCloud+ subscribers only.
Apple released a pretty useful app and bogged it down by limiting its availability to iCloud+ subscribers only.
However, if you’re willing to give Apple $0.99 a month to upgrade your storage, you instantly get access to Invites with it. But should you?
