macOS has a neat little feature that lets you center your app window right in the middle of the display. Here’s how you can use it.

Focus on Your Favorite App or Task by Centering the Window on the Display on Your Mac

While we tend not to think much about how windows are arranged on the Mac desktop, some people do want a better aesthetic than others.

You can either have windows side by side, have them stacked on top of each other. Or, if you’re someone who uses one app at a time, have that window in the center of the display.

Sure, you can manually center that window to your liking. But what if I tell you there’s a simple option that does it for you in one click?

Just one click, and the window will automatically be the centerpiece on your desktop.

If you’ve been using the Mac for a long time, you know what I’m talking about. For those who are new here, follow these steps.

Step 1. Launch the app of your choice. Make sure you resize it manually, if it needs that sort of adjustment.

Step 2. Once the app is in view, you’ll see a bunch of option in the menu bar at the top of the display. Click on Window.

Step 3. Now click on Center. Alternatively, the keyboard shortcut for this is Globe+Control+C.

The moment you land that click, your window will immediately move to the center of the display. It’s one of the nicest feelings around.

I use this feature all the time when I want to focus on just one task or app. Having the window in the center of the display with the wallpaper showing around the sides has a very aesthetically pleasing look and feel to it.
