Don’t buy a MacBook Air anytime soon, as the M4 model is all set for launch in the coming weeks in March.
M4 MacBook Air is Ready for Launch in March, Apple Making Necessary Preparations Ahead of Time
The rollout of the M4 isn’t complete, and the chip is yet to make it to the MacBook Air.
A new report by Mark Gurman says that Apple is preparing to launch the new M4 MacBook Air in the coming weeks. Apple is currently working on the marketing and sales material for the upcoming laptop, and we should expect it to arrive in March.
We can expect both 13-inch and 15-inch models to be upgraded at the same time. The larger model is always going to be a better purchase since it gets you better battery life and way better audio quality through its speaker system.
It’s safe to assume the design of the MacBook Air is not going to change, except that users should see good performance gains across the board and better display output options too. But I wouldn’t be surprised if Apple keeps the new MacBook Air one step behind so that it doesn’t eat into the MacBook Pro’s lunch.
If you’ve been waiting for a new MacBook Air to arrive for a while, it’s best you sit back for a few more weeks and wait for the M4 model to come out. This buying practice ensures that you get an extra year of life out of the laptop if you plan to keep it for a long time.
