Looks like the cat’s out of the bag, and new renders have revealed what the iPhone 17 Air will look like.

Final Design of iPhone 17 Air Leaked in Purported Renders, Shows off Super-thin Design

Apple is working on a very thin iPhone that is set for release later this year. Whether it’s called the iPhone 17 Slim or iPhone 17 Air is entirely up for debate, but this super-thin phone is going to take the iPhone lineup in an entirely new direction.

Front Page Tech, responsible for leaking the iPhone 17 Pro camera design and the upcoming iOS 19 Camera app has jumped into the scene once again with brand new renders.

This time, the renders are for the upcoming iPhone 17 Air, and without skipping a beat, I’ll just say it: this phone looks stunning.

Just like the iPhone 17 Pro, the iPhone 17 Air has a camera bar that runs from one end to the other. But the thing that has me curious is the flash placement. It really makes me wonder why it’s at the corner and not next to the camera lens itself.

There’s a chance the decision was made from an aesthetic point of view than anything else.

The above design is similar to a leak we all saw a while back, but surprisingly, the renders are way more detailed and appealing.

This new iPhone is said to be just 5.5mm thick, if you don’t count the camera bump. That’s ridiculously thin for a phone. However, in order to get there, Apple has apparently made some compromises in hardware, such as the removal of the speaker grille from the bottom.

If Apple is able to pull off this iPhone at a very, very competitive price, it will definitely take the iPhone in a different direction. You can’t just release a concept product and expect it to work, but since Apple is apparently going ahead with it, things are starting to get interesting all of a sudden.
