As expected, Apple has stopped signing iOS 18.3.1 and iPadOS 18.3.1, which means you can’t downgrade from iOS 18.3.2 or iPadOS 18.3.2.

Apple no Longer Signing iOS 18.3.1 and iPadOS 18.3.1, Downgrade from 18.3.2 No Longer Possible

It’s set in stone at this point. Whenever Apple releases a new firmware update, the old one is signed for a few days, and then it isn’t.

Today, Apple is no longer signing iOS 18.3.1 and iPadOS 18.3.1, and quite frankly, it means nothing unless you were planning to downgrade your device.

What this means is, if you were hoping to downgrade your iPhone or iPad from the latest 18.3.2 update, you can no longer do that.

Given the amount of bug fixes and improvements the latest 18.3.2 update brings to the table, it’s a good idea to just go ahead and install it. You can do so by going to Settings > General > Software Update.

Tap on Update Now when the update shows up.

As a regular user, it should be a habit to install the latest updates whenever they arrive. It makes sure your device keeps on working as intended, that too with the least amount of issues.

I know I’m stating the obvious right now, but keeping your device up to date is always a good idea.
