The truth is, whenever Apple does a shade of yellow on one of its devices, it’s never the correct one. It’s either too bright or too undersaturated.
Whenever someone says yellow, they mean a color that leans a little bit towards the shade of mustard. The one that is slightly orange, yet lives inside the yellow territory.
The only time Apple did the shade of yellow right was when it released the California Poppy Leather Case for the iPhone 12 lineup. It was absolutely spot on, and then suddenly, it never happened.
I decided to take things into my own hands and make the most zero-effort wallpaper for iPhone, iPad, and Mac, that sits close to the shade of yellow everyone wants.
I’m not even going to pretend that I spent a lot of time on these wallpapers. It’s a simple spill of paint on an empty canvas, and it took under a couple of minutes to make these.
