tvOS 18.4 update is now available to download for Apple TV users around the world, and here’s how you can install it immediately.
Apple TV Users Can Download and Install tvOS 18.4 Today with Small Under-the-Hood Changes
Apple TV has received an update today as well. If you’re about to watch your favorite TV show, spare some time to download tvOS 18.4 first.
The update doesn’t add any new feature but it does fix a load of bugs and other underlying issues from previous updates.
In order to download the update right now, launch the Settings app from the Home Screen. Now go all the way down and open System, and then open Software Update.
Install the tvOS 18.4 update from here immediately.
Do not fiddle around with your Apple TV and definitely do not turn off your TV during the installation process. Once everything is complete, you will back to the tvOS Home Screen.
tvOS updates don’t bring much to the table, but I have this feeling things are suddenly about to change this year with tvOS 19.
Maybe a change in design like iOS 19 may happen, or Apple might spin off the software into another device such as the rumored smart screen.
