Apple Releases visionOS 2.4 for Vision Pro with Apple Intelligence Features, Including Writing Tools, Image Playground and More
Of all the updates Apple released today, visionOS 2.4 is definitely a big one. Apart from the changes it received on iPhone, such as the inclusion of a Vision Pro app, the real star of the show is, without a doubt, Apple Intelligence.
On a device like Vision Pro, AI features make so much sense as they add to the overall appeal of spatial computing. Now that it’s here, I will urge everyone to download the update right now and see what the Apple Intelligence fuss is all about.
In order to download the update, launch the Settings app on your Vision Pro, then go to General, then open Software Update. Download visionOS 2.4 when it shows up.
Make sure your Vision Pro headset is connected to a power source throughout the installation to ensure everything goes through as smoothly as possible.
You can expect Writing Tools, Image Playground, Genmoji, and more from Apple Intelligence. My personal favorite is Writing Tools since it keeps your personality as real as possible when suggesting changes although you can go completely overboard with it once you get ChatGPT involved.
Image Playground is fun for the first few minutes, and then it loses its charm, probably because you’ll never stumble upon a situation where you need a custom image.
However, Genmoji is far more useful than Image Playground since it adds a ton of flavor to an ongoing conversation. Because, have you ever seen a dinosaur eating a pizza? Genmoji lets you create interesting emojis like that.
