iOS 18.4 and iPadOS 18.4 RC are now available for download. Here’s how you can install them on your iPhone and iPad right now.
Apple Releases iOS 18.4 and iPadOS 18.4 RC for iPhone and iPad, Anyone Can Download it Right Away
The full and final version of iOS 18.4 and iPadOS 18.4 will become available for download in April, which is just a few days away from now.
However, Apple has released the iOS 18.4 and iPadOS 18.4 release candidate today for developers and public beta testers. This is the full and final version, but not for everyone.
Thankfully, you can go right ahead and download the update right away on your iPhone and iPad if you sign up for the public beta. And I’m going to show you how to do that right now.
Step 1. Open beta.apple.com using Safari and sign up using Apple Account. Use the same account which you are using on your iPhone and iPad.
Step 2. Once signed up, launch the Settings app.
Step 3. Now go to General > Software Update > Beta Updates.
Step 4. Select iOS 18 Public Beta and then tap on Back at the top left corner of the display.
Step 5. You’ll immediately see iOS 18.4 Release Candidate become available for download. Tap on Update Now.
