Apple is working on the iPad Pro with the M5 chip in it. It’s currently in its late testing phases and will be released later this year.

M5 iPad Pro is Set for Launch Later this Year, Unclear if it Will Launch Before the MacBook Pro or After

While the rollout of the M4 chip isn’t even complete, Apple is working hard on the next one, the M5.

The next iPad Pro is said to be one of the first devices to include the M5 chip. Apple is currently in its late testing phases, and launch should happen in the second half of this year, according to Bloomberg.

It will be interesting to see if the iPad Pro will be the first device this year to get the M5 chip.

Last year, the M4 chip made its debut with the iPad Pro.

A recent report from Bloomberg said Apple is going to start the rollout of the chip with the new MacBook Pro, and then it will make it to the iPad Pro instead of the other way around.

The M5 iPad Pro is only going to receive the M5 chip, nothing else. In terms of design and other specs, the tablet will reportedly keep everything from last year and will focus on a performance boost only.

Same goes for the MacBook Pro as well this year, whereas the M6 model is going to introduce the major design overhaul.
