Given the current state of Siri, you’re better off using ChatGPT or something else to get your answers for extremely basic questions.

Pick up your iPhone or iPad right now and ask Siri: “What month is it?” And you’ll get this glorious reply: “Sorry, I don’t understand.”

If you ever wondered how bad Siri is, this is it. The most basic question and the assistant can’t answer it.
Siri is a great way to set timers and create reminders. Outside of those things, I wouldn’t bother at all, nor should you.
Even though Apple is working on an advanced version of Siri, which is now delayed, I have very little hope from it because anything AI-powered is going to be a huge miss in a lot of places.
For example, while ChatGPT may seem to get things right at times, but it will forcefully agree with your statements and conjure up a non-answer when it comes to basic questions as well.
I’m not sure if iPhone and iPad users will come across a version of Siri that will be worth using on a daily basis.
