All set for announcement this year, the visionOS 3 update for the Vision Pro is going to be a ‘feature-packed’ update.

Apple is Not Done with Vision Pro – visionOS 3 will be a Feature-Packed Update

Over the weekend, Bloomberg published an interesting report saying that Apple’s Vision team is currently working on a big software update for Vision Pro. That update is going to be ‘feature-packed’ and will be visionOS 3.

Apple is going to announce the new visionOS 3 update at WWDC 2025 this June. The details regarding the software update are currently unknown and will be interesting to see where Apple takes its software from here.

It was just a while ago that Apple brought Apple Intelligence to Vision Pro with the visionOS 2.4 update. I almost thought the headset was a lost cause, but the company brought its AI suite of features to it at the last minute.

Do keep in mind that visionOS 2.4 is currently in beta, and the full version will become available for download sometime in April along with a wider range of language support for Apple Intelligence.

Apple is also working on a second-generation Vision Pro headset along with other variations of the headset at a lower price point. But, do keep in mind Apple has nothing in the pipeline for this year.
