Apple is going to give the 2027 iPhone lineup a huge redesign, similar to the iPhone X from 2017.
2027 iPhone 19 Pro will be a Huge Design Upgrade with Extensive Use of Glass, Foldable iPhone will also Join the Lineup
Apple marked the 10th anniversary of the iPhone with a significant redesign. The Home button was gone, Touch ID was replaced by Face ID, and a switch to OLED happened, and so much more.
The iPhone X was born.
For the 20th anniversary iPhone, Apple is all set to do it again. The iPhone 19 Pro is going to be a huge design upgrade and Apple is going to use glass more extensively, according to Bloomberg.
Apple is also going to introduce a new foldable iPhone in the lineup, something that has been on the cards for a long time at this point.
This year, Apple is going to take a leap forward with the iPhone 17 Air, which is said to be the thinnest iPhone to date, but with compromises. But don’t worry, it will include MagSafe.
While details remain missing from the report, it seems like Apple is going to stop using metal parts over glass for a more seamless looking device.
The way I see it, Apple will just stop using mechanical volume buttons in favor of pressure-sensitive keys. It may do the same for the Action Button too.
It will be interesting to picture such a device, especially when glass gets a bad rap for breaking easily and a little difficult to hold.
Looks like Apple has it all figured out for its 2027 iPhone.
