A new report says that Apple is going to launch its advanced Siri features in the fall rather than delaying them to next year.

Apple’s Delayed Siri Features are Set for Launch in the Fall, According to a Brand-New Report

The new and smarter Siri, which Apple revealed at WWDC last year will finally be released to public this fall, according to The New York Times.

We heard from Apple that it has delayed all of these new Siri features and we won’t be seeing them until 2026 at least. There has been a major leadership reshuffle behind this entire drama too.

The NYT report says three of their sources have said that the new Siri is on track for release this fall.

If the new and advanced Siri is releasing this fall, then it will likely be a part of iOS 19, iPadOS 19, and macOS 16, which are also set for release later this year, or more precisely, in the fall.

Given the new iPhone 17 lineup is also set for release around October, it starts to make sense that Apple would work to release these features around that time too.

For those who don’t know, the advanced Siri can do so much more than not tell what month it is and set timers.

The new assistant will be contextually aware, can go deep into apps to take action or find what you’re looking for, and do even more than that.

It is going to be the Siri we all have been waiting for.

While I do have gripes with Apple regarding the delay, I have a feeling it will get it right before rolling it out to everyone. I just hope it’s not canceled completely, as some reports want us to believe.
