Test Out Apple’s Upcoming macOS 15.5 Sequoia as a Public Beta, Download and Install it Today
Those who were waiting for the new macOS 15.5 Sequoia public beta to arrive don’t have to wait any longer.
And, as ever, the public beta is extremely easy to install too.
First of all, you have to sign up to the beta.apple.com website. Sign up using the same Apple Account which you are currently using on your Mac.
Once signed up, all you have to do is follow these steps:
Step 1. Launch System Settings.
Step 2. Click on General, and then Software Update.
Step 3. Right at the top you should see Beta Updates. Click the (i) button next to it.
Step 4. Select macOS Sequoia Public Beta from the drop-down menu and then click on Done.
Step 5. Software Update will now refresh and macOS 15.5 public beta will become available for download. Click on Update Now next to it.

Do keep in mind macOS 15.5 does not include any new features at all and it focuses mainly on fixing bugs and improving performance.
Since this is beta software, you have to be careful when it comes to certain things. For example, you may encounter a bug or two, or three, maybe four. This is completely normal while testing beta software.
In some cases, you may experience slightly worse battery life on your MacBook as well. Again, it is completely normal.
