This is a massive revelation. According to a new report, the iPadOS 19 update will bring big changes to iPad this summer.

iPadOS 19 Will Bring Big Changes to iPad, Including Improvements to Productivity, App Window Management and Multitasking

Apple is all set to announce iPadOS 19 at WWDC 2025, and we have just a couple of months to go.

However, the information revealed by Bloomberg about iPadOS 19 makes things way too exciting and I wish time flies by quicker.

According to the report, Apple is working to make iPad work more like a Mac when it comes to app window management, productivity and multitasking.

While Apple did try to please users with a feature called Stage Manager, it wasn’t exactly what fans wanted. So, Apple is revamping things once again and hopefully make the iPad work like a Mac.

I’ve been in a love-hate relationship with the iPad for a long time, mainly because it’s a ‘slow’ computer. You really have to fight with it in order to make it work. Sure, it is better at some things, but the Mac just wins when you want to get real work done.

Apart from the above features, we can also expect iPadOS 19 to bring the redesigned UI to iPad as well. It will be more like VisionOS with the use of glassy elements throughout the operating system.

It seems as though Apple has realized that AI isn’t that big of a deal compared to actual features such as big improvements to how people interact with a device. Sure, AI is great and all, but it loses its charm so quickly.
