Users all over the internet are complaining about CarPlay connectivity issues after installing iOS 18.4 on their iPhones.

Users Reporting Broken CarPlay Connectivity After iOS 18.4 Update on iPhone

Apple simply can’t get a stable iPhone software update out the door at this point. Right now, a lot of users are reporting that CarPlay is broken after the latest iOS 18.4 update.

Some users are reporting that their car isn’t showing the now-playing media information, while some users say it takes a few attempts before CarPlay even connects.

CarPlay has never been the smoothest experience for users, and issues like this don’t help one bit.

I’m sure Apple is going to remedy this issue with a software update, and there’s no telling when that update will arrive.

In the meantime, you can try this fix and see if it works for you in your car.

Usually, I’m the first one to say that you should install the latest software update, but this time I’m going to advise against it. It’s best to wait this one out and see how far this CarPlay situation goes.

If you are currently on iOS 18.3.2 and really cherish CarPlay, give it a few days until the feature is sorted on iOS 18.4.
