Apple’s upcoming iPhone 17 Pro lineup is going to ship with an exclusive iOS 19 Camera app feature.
iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max will be Able to Record Video Using Front and Back Cameras at the Same Time
Yesterday, Front Page Tech leaked quite a bit of iOS 19. At the end of the video, Jon Prosser wrapped things up with a feature that is going to be exclusive to the iPhone 17 Pro lineup.
Apple is bringing multi-camera recording to the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max, allowing you to record video using the front and back cameras at the same time.
This feature has been around for a long time if you know which third-party app to download from the App Store. But the feature is coming to the Camera app on iPhone for the first time with iOS 19.
This feature is definitely going to sit well with those who record video a lot. Rather than just switch cameras over and over again, just hit the record button once, and you’re recording from the front and back cameras both.
A recent report also said that the Pro models will be able to shoot 8K video, something which a lot of competing smartphones have been doing for a long time.
I hope this feature ships with the ability to record in Log as well, allowing creators to truly push the boundaries of iPhone.
