Apple’s iWork suite of apps, which includes Pages, Numbers and Keynote, has been updated for iOS 18.4, iPadOS 18.4 and macOS 15.4.

If you use Pages, Numbers and Keynote on a daily basis, it’s recommend that you go ahead and update all of them right away.
Apple has added full support for iOS 18.4, iPadOS 18.4 and macOS 15.4 Sequoia with the latest updates.
While full support is great, it makes no sense why Apple says the latest updates add support for Writing Tools, when it was already added back in December.
Anyway, you can make ‘edits’ using Writing Tools directly in the document you’re working on. Again, not sure what exactly has changed that it gets a second mention in the changelog.
Improved copy and paste between Freeform is to be expected in this update. And you can export your documents in other formats using Shortcuts in iOS 18.4 and macOS 15.4.
