Apple has released macOS Sequoia 15.2 RC version for the Mac, and anyone can download and install it right now.

Apple Releases macOS Sequoia 15.2 RC with Image Playground, ChatGPT and More for Developers and Testers, Download Now

RC is the full and final version of software that is meant for developers and public beta testers. If you’ve been testing the macOS Sequoia 15.2 developer or public beta, you can download and install the RC too.

Here’s what you have to do:

  • Launch ‘System Settings’ on your Mac.
  • Click on ‘General’ on the left.
  • Now click on ‘Software Update.’
  • Wait a few seconds and macOS Sequoia 15.2 update will show right up.

If you haven’t been testing macOS Sequoia 15.2 at all, you can still download the RC version right now. All you have to do is sign up for the public beta, and the RC version will be delivered to you over the air.

You can find all the details by going to this link. The signing up literally takes under a minute, as you only have to sign in using your existing Apple Account.

Those with an Apple silicon Mac will reap the most benefits of this update since it packs a new wave of Apple Intelligence features, including Image Playground, Genmoji, ChatGPT support, and more.

As someone who uses the Mac a lot for getting work done, I’m truly excited about today’s release. The way Apple Intelligence has been assisting me so far is nothing short of incredible.

In my opinion, if you think macOS 15.1 made your Mac twice as good, version 15.2 is going to be an even bigger leap.

Apart from that, you can expect this update to add a bunch of refinements and fixes across the board. Those pesky little bugs that were part of macOS Sequoia 15.1 should be a thing of the past, hopefully.

Expect the final version of macOS Sequoia 15.2 to become available to everyone in about a week. It’s entirely up to you whether you want to wait a little more or just install the RC right now. It really doesn’t matter at this point.

Just have fun with the update and enjoy all the new features Apple has shipped in macOS 15.2.
