Apple has released iOS 18.2, iPadOS 18.2, and macOS 15.2 RC 2 for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Download it right away.

Well, Apple didn’t release the full and final version of iOS 18.2, iPadOS 18.2, or macOS Sierra 15.2. Instead, it released RC 2 of those updates.
What this means is, if you have been using RC 1 of iOS 18.2 or macOS 15.2, you should go right ahead and download the new RC 2 right away.
On iPhone and iPad, here’s what you have to do:
- Launch the ‘Settings’ app.
- Tap on ‘General.’
- Tap on ‘Software Update.’
- When the update shows up, tap on ‘Update Now.’
In order to download macOS Sequoia 15.2 RC 2, follow these steps:
- Launch ‘System Settings.’
- Click on ‘General.’
- Click on ‘Software Update.’
- Wait for the page to refresh and then install RC 2.
Given there’s a second RC from Apple, it means Apple has patched something important before releasing the full and final version to everyone around the world.
You can expect Image Playground, Genmoji, and ChatGPT support to be a part of the updates when they are released to everyone.
