You can now download and install iOS 18.3 and iPadOS 18.3 beta 1 for iPhone and iPad right now, with new changes and features.
Apple Releases iOS 18.3 and iPadOS 18.3 for iPhone and iPad with Small Changes and Features, Download it Today
Bet you weren’t expecting Apple to release a new beta today, right? We all were wrong, and iOS 18.3 and iPadOS 18.3 beta 1 for iPhone and iPad are now available for download.
If you are a registered developer with Apple, you can go right ahead and download the update on your supported device.
Provided you’re already a developer, make sure you head over to Settings > General > Software Update > Beta Updates and then enable the iOS 18 Developer Beta option.
Once this is done, iOS 18.3 will show right up for download by going to Settings > General > Software Update.
Tap on Update Now and the update will immediately start downloading onto your device.
Remember, this update brings a handful of changes to the iPhone and iPad, which I’m going to cover separately, so be sure you’re on the lookout for that.
Other than that, you can expect this update to bring a ton of bug fixes and other under-the-hood improvements to devices.
Since we are riding the holiday season wave, we can expect the update to arrive way after Christmas. This also means we shouldn’t expect any beta update to arrive for a couple of weeks, at least.
We can expect the full and final version of iOS 18.3 and iPadOS 18.3 to arrive sometime in early 2025.
This beta arrives just a week after the full and final version of iOS 18.2 and iPadOS 18.2 was released.
