visionOS 2.3 final update is now ready for download for the Vision Pro. Here’s how to install it right away.

New visionOS 2.3 Update Arrives with Bunch of Bug Fixes, Available to Download Right Away

Apple has been working on improving the Vision Pro headset at a constant pace through software updates.

The initial features in visionOS were absolutely solid, but with the inclusion of ultra-wide Mac Virtual Display support, Apple has really taken things up a notch.

Today, Apple is taking things even further with the release of visionOS 2.3. Though the update does not add any new feature to Vision Pro, it does give Apple time to fix what’s already there, and that’s very important too.

In order to download the update now, launch Settings on your Vision Pro, then select General and then Software Update. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the update immediately.

During the entire process, please do not play around with your Vision Pro. It’s best that you leave it plugged in on a table until everything is complete.

I really wish Apple brings AI to the Vision Pro this year and does not ask everyone to upgrade to a newer Vision headset for it.

If there’s one place where AI will shine the most, it’s a mixed reality headset, and so far there’s nothing on that end from Apple. But who knows, it might suddenly change overnight.
