Netflix Adds Button to Download an Entire Season at Once for iPhone and iPad Users
The ability to download movies and TV shows from Netflix has been around for quite a while now.
However, if you’re planning to download a season, then the process is a little cumbersome.
See, the thing is, if you plan on downloading an entire season of your favorite TV show, you have to download it one episode at a time.
Until now.
Netflix has just added a brand-new button to its iPhone and iPad apps, allowing you to press it once and the entire season will start to download for offline viewing later.
Yes, the entire season in one go. No need to download each and every single episode one at a time.
Let me show you how it works.
Step 1. Launch the Netflix app.
Step 2. Go to your favorite TV show which you want to download.
Step 3. See that ‘Download Season’ button? Just press it and away you go.
While this feature is excellent to have, it will eat away at your iPhone and iPad storage in a snap. I will urge everyone to check App Settings and fine-tune how Downloads work.
You really don’t need to download an entire season at full quality, especially if you’re planning to watch it on an iPhone.
Usually, the default settings, as you can see in the screenshot below, are more than enough.
Though the ability to download TV shows on Netflix has been around for a while, I have never downloaded anything once. Maybe I’m not the target audience for this at all.
