It’s always great to see brand-new software being released for our favorite devices. If you own the Vision Pro, then Apple has given you a reason to get excited about it too.
In fact, that reason is massive, as the new visionOS 2.4 beta brings Apple Intelligence to the Vision Pro headset, and you can download it today.
If you’re already signed up to receive visionOS 2 beta update, then all you have to do is go to Settings > General > Software Update on your Vision Pro in order to download the latest visionOS 2.4 beta.
The installation may take a while, and it’s good practice to leave your Vision Pro on charge during the entire process.
Noticeable changes and inclusions will be highlighted as they are discovered, so stay tuned for that.
You can expect the final version of the update to become available for download sometime in April. We don’t have the exact date yet, and quite frankly, we mostly don’t.
Brand new software updates from Apple arrive out of thin air unless Apple explicitly talks about them in a press release, but in this case, the company has said the final version of visionOS 2.4 update will arrive in April.
It will be interesting to see how much Apple Intelligence helps the Vision Pro. I’m going to dig into the details Apple has provided and return with all the interesting bits.
