Oh boy, it looks like the much-awaited iPhone SE 4 is set for launch as early as next week, according to the latest report.

Latest Report Suggests Apple will Announce the iPhone SE 4 Next Week with A18 Chip, Face ID and More

The iPhone SE 4 was in the news regularly for quite some time, and then it went quiet. Because we know a lot about the device itself already. We even had a photo and video leak showing the design of the new iPhone in detail.

The one thing we don’t know much about is the exact launch date, and it turns out the budget iPhone is set for launch next week, according to Bloomberg.

Like the iPhone SE 3, there won’t be a special event for the new iPhone. Instead, it will likely be announced through a press release. Hopefully, there will be an introduction video to accompany the announcement, too.

Basically, the iPhone SE 4 should be announced by February 14th if all goes according to plan.

In terms of design, the new iPhone is set to look like the iPhone 14 with flat sides. But there will be a single camera at the back, while the inclusion of the Action Button is still a mystery.

I hope the Action Button makes the cut, as it’s far more useful than the mute switch.

Another thing that’s also a mystery is whether the new iPhone SE will have a Dynamic Island or the notch.

In terms of power, the iPhone SE 4 will ship with the A18 chip at its core, which will also include 8GB of RAM. This means this iPhone will boast Apple Intelligence out of the box.

Another thing of interest is the large 6.1-inch OLED display with Face ID at the top which is a huge upgrade over the current, boring design with Touch ID.

Also, do keep in mind that the new iPhone SE marks the end of the Home button era.

At the back, the new iPhone SE will ship with a single 48-megapixel camera and will likely have support for MagSafe and Qi2 charging.

The one thing I’m looking forward to is the Apple-designed 5G modem, and the iPhone SE 4 is going to be the first device to ship with it.

Just under a week to go, and we’ll know what Apple has in store for us.
