Mac users can download and install the macOS 15.3.1 Sequoia update on their devices over the air with bug fixes and security enhancements.

Apple Releases macOS 15.3.1 Sequoia with Bug Fixes and Security Enhancements for All Mac Users, Download it Today

Apart from iOS 18.3.1 and iPadOS 18.3.1, Apple is giving macOS Sequoia a good polish as well by releasing a bug fix and security enhancement update.

According to Apple:

This update provides important security fixes and is recommended for all users.

As you can see, Apple has kept things nice and concise with the set of changes in this update.

In order to download macOS 15.3.1 Sequoia right now, simply launch System Settings, go to General > Software Update. When macOS 15.3.1 shows up, click on Update Now. That’s it.

The update will take a while to download and install, as with all macOS updates. Your Mac will restart once in order to complete the installation, after which you can get along with your daily routine.

Apple is going to release the first beta of macOS 15.4 this week with a massive upgrade to Siri. This means Siri will be contextually aware and will better understand what you want from it.

This is exactly the boost Siri needs at this point in time. Hopefully, it’s the kind of update to Siri that will sit well with a lot of users around the world.

However, do keep one thing in mind: this update is only going to be available for users with an Apple silicon Mac. This means everyone else with an Intel Mac has to deal with the current, less-than-capable Siri, basically for eternity, unless you decide to get something with Apple’s SoC.

You can download the macOS 15.3.1 IPSW file from this link if you have an Apple silicon Mac. You can use it to restore your Mac using Apple Configurator.
