After a long delay, Apple Intelligence is finally coming to China as Apple has struck a deal.
Apple Partners with Alibaba to Bring Apple Intelligence to China, Expect it to Roll Out this April
Though people around the world have been enjoying Apple Intelligence for a while now, the feature is still missing in China.
According to Tim Cook, the lack of AI in China is even hurting iPhone 16 sales.
Nonetheless, it looks as though Apple is going to turn things around as it has struck a deal in which it will finally be able to bring Apple Intelligence to China, according to The Information.
According to the report, Apple has partnered with Alibaba to bring its AI features to China. Apple was also in talks with DeepSeek, but apparently Alibaba was a better choice.
While this is definitely good news, those living in China can expect Apple Intelligence to finally roll out with iOS 18.4, iPadOS 18.4, and macOS 15.4. Which means users have to wait a little bit longer.
All of the above mentioned updates are expected to roll out in April.
Reports do say the first beta of iOS 18.4 should arrive this week, but it remains to be seen if the first beta will instantly bring Apple Intelligence to iPhones, iPads, and Macs in China.
