Here is the official factory unlocked iPhone 16e price for all models – 128GB, 256GB and 512GB – in the United States.
iPhone 16e Starts at $599 for a Fully Factory Unlocked Model, but it Goes into iPhone 16 Territory Once you Go for More Storage
If you’ve decided to get yourself an iPhone 16e, and are thinking of taking the factory unlocked route, you’ve made a smart choice.
A factory unlocked phone gives you the freedom to use any carrier of your choice in any country at all. This is the sort of freedom you do not get with a carrier-bound smartphone.
However, factory-unlocked devices come with a huge upfront cost, and the iPhone 16e is no different at all. And if you’re planning to buy one, you will be spending $599 at least for the 128GB model.
However, let me give you the prices of all storage tiers in a nice little list:
- iPhone 16e factory unlocked – 128GB of storage: $599
- iPhone 16e factory unlocked – 256GB of storage: $699
- iPhone 16e factory unlocked – 512GB of storage: $899
The above prices do not include taxes.
While you may think the 512GB model sounds like a great deal if you are planning to keep everything offline, it does take you into iPhone 16 territory.
In fact, for $899, you can get a base-model iPhone 16 Plus with 128GB of storage. Or, a 256GB iPhone 16 with 256GB of storage.
If you’re truly all about saving money, then the 128GB iPhone 16e is the way to go. But if you’re asking me, I would spend the extra money and get a fully featured iPhone 16 instead. Whether that’s the iPhone 16 or iPhone 16 Plus is entirely up for debate, depending on storage needs, which vary from person to person.
Whichever device you end up buying is entirely up to you. I can only make suggestions based on what I feel is right. Your needs and expectations from the iPhone 16e can be entirely different from mine.
