Apple was able to fit a bigger 3,961mAh battery inside the iPhone 16e, which offers slightly more capacity than the iPhone 16.

iPhone 16e has a 3,961mAh Battery Capacity Which is Great for Full Day Worth of Use

The iPhone 16e is turning out to be a surprising little phone. It’s the complete package and offers the exact amount of features a common smartphone user needs – nothing more, nothing less.

One of those features is battery, an extremely key component. And, the iPhone 16e delivers on that front too.

According to Dave2D in his review of the iPhone 16e, the smartphone has a battery capacity of 3,961 mAh. Compared to the iPhone 16, that’s actually more despite having same dimensions.

In fact, out of all the 6.1-inch smartphones from the iPhone 16 lineup, the 16e the biggest battery capacity. It’s more than the iPhone 16 Pro, which has a capacity of 3,582 mAh.

If you were wondering if Apple removed MagSafe for nothing, you do get a bigger battery in return, and that’s a win.

Besides, you can always remedy the non-existent MagSafe with a case.

Apart from delivering bigger numbers in terms of usage, the Apple C1 modem works its magic as well. Since it’s optimized to work with the A18 chip, this is Apple’s longest-lasting 6.1-inch iPhone.

While this is great news, I want Apple’s modem to quickly make its way to its larger model – the Pro Max. Once Apple’s modem meets a larger internal battery, things are going to dramatically improve.

I can only imagine how much improvement the iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 13 mini would have seen if the C1 had existed back then. But we will never know, as Apple has completely phased out the smaller iPhone.
