At this point, I’ll be surprised if you don’t know about Microsoft Copilot. But with so many AI chatbots available nowadays, I wouldn’t be surprised if you don’t.
If you’re well acquainted with Copilot, then you should be pleased to learn that it is now available officially on the Mac as a standalone app from the Mac App Store. You no longer have to visit Safari in order to use it.
Powered by OpenAI with Microsoft’s own magic on top, it’s a full-on chatbot that is ready to tackle anything you may have. Whether it’s a simple question, or you want to generate an image, Copilot will do everything for you.
Since it’s free to use and only requires a Microsoft Account, I will highly recommend downloading it and giving it a shot. Who knows it might just work well for you.
Do keep one thing in mind before you go ahead. This app is only available on Apple silicon Macs and requires macOS 14.0 or later. If you were excited that you would use it on your Intel Mac, then you may want to refer to the Copilot website instead.
