Apple has released iOS 18.4 and iPadOS 18.4 beta 4 for iPhone and iPad, and here’s how you can download it right now.
iOS 18.4 and iPadOS 18.4 Beta 4 is Now Available for Download with More Fixes and Improvements
It’s been one week since Apple released any beta update for iPhone and iPad. Today, the fourth beta arrives in full force, and those who have the third beta installed can grab the new one over the air.
These are the steps you have to follow:
- Make sure your iPhone and iPad has 50% or more battery.
- Launch the Settings app and navigate to General > Software Update.
- Wait for this page to load and the new beta will show right up. Tap on Update Now.
You can expect minor changes in this update, but you can also expect bug fixes and security patches at the same time. Please make sure you update to beta 4 as soon as possible.
Do keep in mind you have the option to download and install the iOS 18.4 and iPadOS 18.4 public beta and test it out yourself. You’ll find the necessary steps for it posted here.
The full and final version of iOS 18.4 and iPadOS 18.4 will become available for download in April, which is surprisingly close from the time of writing this.
At this point, I will not recommend testing out the beta unless you really have to. Just wait for the final version to arrive next month so that you can install the most stable version of the update compared to what’s available right now.
