Great news: Apple Maps on the web is no longer in beta, and it works in web browsers on the phone too.

Apple Maps is No Longer in Beta and Available on Web Browsers for Phones too

Apple Maps has been available on the web since July of last year. But of course, it was in beta with limited device availability.

It was limited to desktop and tablet web browsers, but today Apple is changing that and bringing its service to phones browsers as well.

Whether it’s an Android phone, or any device that has a web browser, you can access Apple Maps by going to the following link: maps.apple.com

But wait, there’s more.

Apple Maps on the web is no longer in beta, which means you get the full experience right from your web browser. And hopefully, this experience is going to be bug-free too.

Apple’s mapping effort has definitely come a long way. From a disastrous launch in iOS 6 all the way to this moment, things have changed so much that it’s hard to imagine this is the same service that was launched in 2012.

In fact, a lot of people now swear by it and believe it’s better than Google Maps in a lot of ways too, especially when you consider how well it works in CarPlay.

Even if you don’t have an Apple device, I highly recommend giving Maps a shot in your web browser. Who knows, it might make you a believer too.

It’s always great to have alternatives around, just in case.
