Apple has released beta 4 of iOS 17.6 and iPadOS 17.6 for iPhone and iPad. Other software updates are available, too.
Download and Install iOS 17.6 and iPadOS 17.6 Beta 4 Over the Air Along with Update Software Updates from Apple
It’s so easy to forget about iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 in all the iOS 18 noise. Only yesterday Apple released the public beta of iOS 18 and iPadOS 18, and today the company is seeding the fourth beta of iOS 17.6 and iPadOS 17.6. And as ever, you can download this update over the air right now.
In order to download and install iOS 17.6 and iPadOS 17.6 beta 4, just go to Settings > General > Software Update. Once the update shows up, install it. It won’t take that long. Please make sure your device is connected to a power source and Wi-Fi.
Apart from iOS 17.6 and iPadOS 17.6 beta, Apple has also released macOS 14.6 beta 4, watchOS 10.6 beta 4 and tvOS 17.6 beta 4. In order to download macOS 14.6 beta 4, just go to System Settings > General > Software Update on your Mac. watchOS 10.6 beta 4 is available over the air by going to Watch > General > Software Update on your iPhone, whereas you can get the tvOS 17.6 beta 4 by going to Settings > System > Software Update on your Apple TV.
Though iOS 17.6 and iPadOS 17.6 is on its way, we did hear a rumor that Apple is working on iOS 17.5.2. Not sure when it will release exactly, but we can expect it to drop way before iOS 17.6 and iPadOS 17.6. For now, if you are running the beta of iOS 17.6 or iPadOS 17.6, be sure to update your iPhone and iPad.
