If you love new names then you’ll love the new Meta Horizon rebrand. The official app that helps you set up the Meta Quest on iPhone and iPad, manage friends, installed apps, experiences and more is now Meta Horizon.

The Meta Quest app is now the Meta Horizon app. Jump into worlds, find your next favorite mixed reality experience, customize your avatar or manage your headset, all from your phone.
In terms of features, nothing has changed. Everything is exactly where it should be, ensuring users aren’t thrown off the moment they install the update. However, given the rebrand, there’s a chance Meta has some huge things planned for the future, especially when the Meta Quest 4 comes out. And I sincerely hope it fixes some of the biggest issues with the Meta Quest 3, such as the awful passthrough experience which warps time and space around objects.
