If there’s one place you need Find My support, it’s your wallet. ESR is the first company to make such a thing and it’s excellent.
ESR Geo Wallet Includes Find My Support for a Low Price of Just $38 – Includes RFID Blocking and Tons of Storage Space
I have given a lot of wallets a shot and my journey to find one with Find My support continues to this day. Sure, there’s the official MagSafe Wallet from Apple with Find My, but it’s not a full-blown wallet. It’s meant to hold a couple of cards and has no space for cash. I know this will sound harsh, but it’s better to call these types of wallets ‘card holders’ rather than a wallet.
When I learned about ESR’s new Geo Wallet (interesting name), I knew this is it. Because it’s a proper and real wallet. But, it goes a mile further with the inclusion of Find My support, allowing you to find the wallet on Apple’s massive network. Think of it as a wallet with an AirTag built right in. However, this thing is better, since it has its own rechargeable battery for the Apple-certified Find My module and it lasts up to 5 months on a single charge.
Since the Find My module is extremely compact, ESR was able to really, really cut down on the thickness of this wallet. If you’re worried it will take up too much space, you don’t have to. And that module is charged using the included cable, no USB-C fanciness here. It’s a proprietary connector, so you really have to baby it so that you don’t lose it.
RFID blocking is also a part of its feature-set. If you’re worried someone might snoop on your card while you’re unaware, it’s not going to happen. With place to hold up to 2 ID cards, 10 banknotes, 7 bankcards and 15 coins, the Geo Wallet is incredibly spacious, too apart from being secure.
In terms of price, ESR has an early bird offer on Kickstarter – just $38. That’s too cheap, given that a single AirTag costs $24.99, and you’re getting an entire wallet for $38. I will highly recommend checking it out right away.
