In the latest update to Threads for iPhone you can create dedicated feeds from your search results. Give it a shot today.
Threads for iPhone Gets Equal Footing with the Web Version, Now Lets You Create Dedicated Feeds from Search Results
This feature is already available on the web where you can pin an entire search result feed on your main page, allowing you to get updates for that keyword, or keywords. This feature is now rolling out to Threads for iPhone, and the update should be available to you now or in the coming days.
If you love keeping tabs on a certain event or keyword, but don’t want to follow new accounts for it, this is a great way to stay on top of things. Just pin the entire feed to your main screen, next to For You and Following feeds. It’s actually quite handy and I’m 100% sure I’ll end up using it a lot. So should you.
Just to make it clear how it works – the For You section uses your interests to show you relevant posts. The Following feed shows you posts from people you follow, obviously. The new feature will allow you to search for something, for example “WWDC 2024,” and pin that to your main screen.
If you haven’t downloaded Threads for iPhone already, you can get it from the App Store by going to this link.
Threads has come a long way. It is an answer to Twitter (now X) and is slowly climbing to the top with 175 million active users a month. This number will only increase as more and more people turn to the social platform for sharing content and create an audience.
Sure, a lot of features are missing from the web and its mobile apps, but slowly and gradually, it will get there.
