Apple has sent out invites to developers for a quick Apple Intelligence recap. The event will be held at Apple Park in Cupertino.
Developer are Invited to Apple Park for an Apple Intelligence Recap – Feature Still Not Available to Test Out
Apple Intelligence is nowhere to be found in iOS 18 or macOS Sequoia betas, except for some references here and there. But, everyone is expecting it to arrive at a certain point in time, and a report from yesterday did say it will be available in beta before iOS 18 is released to the public later this year. Whatever the case might be, it will be definitely be a part of the final build of iOS 18, iPadOS 18 and macOS Sequoia.
Right now, Apple is keeping developers in the loop by sending out invites for an event in Apple Park in Cupertino on the 14th of August where the company is set to give them a quick recap of Apple Intelligence and its features from WWDC 2024.
The full invite reads as follows:
Join us for a recap of some of the biggest announcements from WWDC24. We’ll explore Apple Intelligence and machine learning, show you how to use Siri and App Intents to enhance the way people interact with your apps, and dive deep into ML-powered APIs that allow you to build intelligence features into your apps. We’ll also show you how to bring large language models directly into your own apps.
I really, really hope Apple gives us a time-frame for when Apple Intelligence will become available in beta. It’s the most hyped feature for this year, and we’re heading into August with no idea about its whereabouts.
Personally, I’m extremely interested to test it out as it is the first AI model that incorporates itself throughout the system and is not a sandboxed experience. So far, I’m completely unfazed by its existence as all existing AI models have been OK-ish at best.
Let’s see if hands-on with Apple Intelligence changes that for me.
