Epic Game Store is Now Live on iPhone and iPad in the EU, Fortnite Now Available for Download Once Again
Thanks to the recent EU ruling, third-party app stores are allowed on iPhone and iPad. Having said that, the Epic Games Store is now available on iOS and iPadOS as well. This means, Fortnite is now available for download. If you live in the EU, and want to dive into the game once again like before, head over to this link.
You first have to download the Epic Games Store and then you will download Fortnite on your iPhone and iPad. Sure, that’s a two-step process, but if you want the game, that’s how you get it.
I’m not going to take a deep dive into what exactly happened between Apple and Epic Games, but I will say this – at the end of the day it’s the consumer that ends up suffering the most. It’s always sad to see corporate greed ruin everything and for what exactly? The game could have stayed on iPhone and iPad to this day. And in the end neither Apple won, nor Epic Games.
Now that the game is back, I hope it stays that way.
