Apple has just announced the brand new AirPods Max 2 headphones. Here are the features, price and release date details.
New Apple AirPods Max 2 Headphones Are Now Official – Features, Price and Release Date All-in-One Place
AirPods Max retain the same design you love from years ago, but gain the most meaningful upgrades users have been asking for.
Those upgrades include the brand new USB-C port for charging the AirPods Max. This means you no longer have to carry a special cable just for the AirPods Max with the second-generation model. One USB-C cable is enough to power up your entire ecosystem.
AirPods Max 2 are also available in 5 new finishes – midnight, starlight, blue, orange and purple. I’m glad there’s a stir up in the color palette this year. Though there was nothing wrong with the first-generation lineup of colors, but seeing them day in and day out got boring.
When it comes to noise cancelation, Apple remains very unclear about the AirPods Max. The website does mention 2x more noise canceling, but the fine print says it is compared to the first-generation AirPods Pro. In short, nothing has changed when it comes to noise canceling.
Everything else is the same with the AirPods Max. You get the same 20 hours of battery life, no adaptive noise canceling features, because the H1 chip is still there.
AirPods Max 2 cost $549 and will be available in 5 new color options. You can pre-order them today and they will be available on 20th of September.
