Apple has released macOS Sequoia 15.1 beta 5 with Apple Intelligence for download if you have a Mac.

macOS Sequoia 15.1 Beta 5 is Now Available for Download with Apple Intelligence, Improvements and Bug Fixes

A new macOS Sequoia 15.1 beta is now available for download. Those running beta 4 can go ahead and download it right now. Here’s what you need to do in order to install beta 5 right away:

  • Save all your files and settings.
  • Make sure you are connected to the internet.
  • Launch System Settings and then go to General > Software Update.
  • Download macOS Sequoia 15.1 beta 5 when it shows up.

Once the download is complete, your Mac will proceed to install the update. A restart will be required in order to complete the process. Once done, you can start using your Mac normally, except with more bug fixes and improvements to Apple Intelligence.

Apple is going to release the full and final version of macOS Sequoia 15.1 for everyone in October. Once the update is here, everyone with a compatible Mac can take Apple Intelligence for a spin.

Do keep in mind everyone else with a non-compatible device will only get to experience bug fixes and other small improvements. An Apple Silicon Mac is a strict requirement for Apple Intelligence.

You can, if you like, take the macOS Sequoia 15.1 update for a spin right now, too. All you have to do is sign up for the public beta here. It barely takes a few minutes to sign up and install.

Once done, you can start using all the great features Apple has been working on, including Writing Tools, which is surely going to be a game-changer for a ton of people out there.

If you like being surprised, then it’s best to stay away from the beta completely. October is right around the corner and you’ve waited this long for the update, why not push the envelope just a little bit more and make it count, right?

Things will truly get exciting on the Mac once the new and improved Siri arrives. It’s no longer an assistance that tells you the weather – it is contextually aware and knows exactly what you want, thanks to its rich language support.

We can expect the new Siri to arrive some time early next year. If reports are to believed, Apple is aiming for a March launch.
