visionOS 2.1 beta 2 is now ready for download over the air if you have a Vision Pro headset.

visionOS 2.1 Beta 2 Now Available for Download with Bug Fixes for Vision Pro

In all the software noise, we tend to ignore the Vision Pro a little too much. It’s a wonderful piece of hardware marred by just one thing – price. Until a cheap Vision headset arrives, we have to deal with what we currently have. And the current model just received a software update, too.

The new update is visionOS 2.1 beta 2. Those running beta 1 should go right ahead and download beta 2 without wasting any time at all. The new update includes a bunch of bug fixes, something that’s always necessary when testing out beta software.

In order to download the new visionOS 2.1 beta 2, this is what you need to do: go to Settings > General > Software Update. When the update becomes available for download, simply install it. Make sure you connect your Vision Pro to a power outlet to ensure you have enough battery life during installation.

Unlike iOS 18.1 and macOS 15.1, the new visionOS 2.1 update is not that exciting. I was hoping for something related to Apple Intelligence, but there is no such thing here at all. In fact, Apple hasn’t said a word about it so far. But apparently, the company is working on it and it may arrive at some point.
