visionOS 2.1 developer beta 3 is now available for Vision Pro and you can download it right away.
Vision Pro Users Can Download visionOS 2.1 Developer Beta 3 Today with Bug Fixes
Beta 2 of visionOS 2.1 was released last week. Today, the beta 3 of visionOS 2.1 is available for download and I highly recommend installing it without wasting any time at all.
Here’s what you need to do:
- Connect your Vision Pro to a power outlet.
- Launch the ‘Settings’ app.
- Go to General > Software Update.
The installation may take a while, but make sure you do not play around with the Vision Pro during the entire process. Once the installation is complete, you can continue using your Vision Pro normally, but with more bug fixes.
The final version of visionOS 2.1 should be available for download some time this month. Though this is a bug fix release mainly, it would have been great if Apple surprised everyone with some Apple Intelligence action on its mixed reality headset. Sadly, that’s not the case, and the company hasn’t said a word about it either.
Rumor has it Apple is going to release a refreshed Vision Pro with M5 and Apple Intelligence. If that’s true, it’s a strange move. But, for some reason, I’m hopeful regarding Apple Intelligence on the Vision Pro.
