As odd it may sound, but the Apple TV+ service is now available as an add-on subscription for Prime Video users.

You Can Sign up for Apple TV+ from Within Prime Video for Just $9.99 – No Need to Download Any New App

First of all, this is only available in the United States, at least for now. If you are subscribed to Amazon Prime Video already, you can go ahead and subscribe to TV+ for a fee of just $9.99 a month from within the Prime Video app.

Once subscribed, you can start watching the full catalogue of TV shows and movies Apple has on offer in its service. And when I say all of it, I mean, all of it. This includes hits like Ted Lasso and The Morning Show.

This also means regardless of where you watch Prime Video, the TV+ catalogue of TV shows and movies is going to be with you as well, all under one roof.

Though I see a lot of skepticism regarding Apple’s move, some even saying it’s a desperate attempt to reach a wider audience, I only see it as a convenience to those who don’t want to go through extra hurdles of subscribing to a new service.

Do keep in mind that the TV+ app is available on pretty much every single platform you can imagine. From Apple’s ecosystem to an app for Windows, including dedicated TV+ apps for gaming consoles and smart TVs, it’s everywhere.

But, with Apple’s current move to bring the subscription to the Prime Video platform, Cupertino can easily tap into a new audience without having to convince them to install a new app. All they have to do is part ways with $9.99 and they’re in.

Right now, no-one knows what sort of business terms both companies – Apple and Amazon – have agreed to. But, whatever it is, you pay $9.99 for TV+ whether you do it from the official app or from within Prime Video.
