Apple has released macOS Sequoia 15.1 RC for developers and public testers. You can download it right now.

Apple Intelligence for Mac is Almost Here – macOS Sequoia 15.1 RC Now Available for Download

If you have been waiting for Apple Intelligence on your Mac, the wait is almost over. Just a while back, Apple released the RC build of macOS Sequoia 15.1 and it is available for download if you are a developer or a public beta tester.

Already have macOS Sequoia 15.1 beta installed? Here’s what you have to do in order to get the RC build on your Mac:

  • Launch ‘System Settings’ by clicking on the Apple logo in the menu bar.
  • Click on ‘General.’
  • Now click on ‘Software Update.’
  • When this page is done referring, macOS Sequoia 15.1 RC will show up. Just download it from here.

If you have been beta-testing macOS Sequoia 15.1 on your Mac for a while now, then this update should come as a breath of fresh air. Apple Intelligence is finally here in its full and final form. All that’s left is this – Apple releasing the update to users around the world next week.

However, if you want to download and install the RC version right now and not wait for the final to arrive next week, here’s what you need to do: go to beta.apple.com, sign up with your Apple Account. Once signed up, launch ‘System Settings’ on your Mac, go to General > Software Update, open ‘Beta Updates’ and then select ‘macOS Sequoia Public Beta.’ Once done, the RC version will show right up.

Congratulations, you just traveled one week into the future by doing that.

There are a ton of great Apple Intelligence features that will be rolled out to users as time passes by. In the first wave, Apple is going to release things like Writing Tools and summaries.

It’s actually a solid start and not too overwhelming either. Users can start to acquaint themselves with AI using these features and Apple will slowly make them climb the ladder with every new update to macOS Sequoia.

Do keep in mind Apple Intelligence is not available on Macs with an Intel processor. The future is exclusive to Apple silicon Macs only. I know that sounds like a huge downer, but that’s how Apple is playing the AI game.
