Apple Confirms iOS 18.2, iPadOS 18.2 and macOS 15.2 will be Released in December

With iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1 and macOS Sequoia 15.1 updates out, Apple Intelligence is finally here. However, this is only the first wave of AI features Apple has been working on.

iOS 18.2, iPadOS 18.2 and macOS 15.2 is set to take things further with features like Image Playground, Genmoji, ChatGPT integration and more. If there’s an update that will truly make enhance the capabilities of your iPhone, iPad and Mac, it’s this one.

Wondering when this update will become available? Wonder no more because Apple has confirmed that the next wave of Apple Intelligence features, or more precisely the iOS 18.2, iPadOS 18.2, and macOS 15.2 updates will become available in December.

At the time of writing, the AI features aren’t that drastic, which I now believe is a good thing. Apple is going to expand its AI reach by slowly releasing new features over the course of the next few months.

Craig Federighi said this is the sort of work that may take decades to fully pan out. The features we are currently starting to see is just the start of things to come.

Basically, Apple is constantly working on new AI-related features and we can expect them to arrive slowly over a period of time.

Until then, make sure you update your iPhone, iPad, and Mac to the latest updates which Apple released today. There is a bunch of fun stuff you’ll enjoy using, including the new Clean Up tool in the Photos app. If you’ve been looking for a way to remove unwanted objects in an otherwise fantastic photo, this is the tool you’ve been looking for.
